Medical Conditions
WHAT IS A PRE-EXISTING
CONDITION?
Any
illness, injury or condition within the last 6 months which you:
- Are currently
aware of or that has occurred whether you have seen a doctor or not.
- Have sought treatment
or medication or have had either recommended.
- Have taken medication
for (whether prescribed or not) or take as a preventative measure.
- Have a known
pregnancy.
- Have been hospitalised
in the last 6 months.
- Any illness,
injury or conditions which requires regular check-ups.
If you are aged
76 or over a Medical Certificate must be completed by your doctor regardless
of whether you have a pre-existing condition or not.
FURTHER PRE-EXISTING
INFORMATION
There is no cover available for psychosomatic, psychological,
or psychiatric disorders, sexually transmitted disease, AIDS/HIV, alcohol
or drug abuse related illnesses or where you are travelling against Drs
advice or are seeking treatment overseas. Coverage of Pre-existing conditions
does not include maintenance of any course of treatment you had prior
to the commencement of your journey or replenishment of medications unless
your medication is stolen on the journey

apply to you then you must apply for a Medical
Certificate.
- Have you a terminal
condition
- Do you require
wheelchair or oxygen assistance
- Are You pregnant
(Pregnancy covered up to 29 weeks only)
- Do you have any
chronic condition requiring daily medication
- Are you 76 years
of age or over
- Have you had
any treatment or seen a Doctor is the last 6 months for any: Heart,
Stroke, TIA, Cancer, Liver, Kidney, Pancreas, or Respiratory condition.
